Program Fees & Financial Assistance
Scholarships & Financial Assistance
At Cloud City Mountain Sports, we believe every young athlete should have the opportunity to participate in outdoor sports, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. Our scholarship program helps reduce the cost of participation and makes skiing, snowboarding, Nordic skiing, and mountain biking more accessible to youth in our community.
Who is eligible?
Scholarships are available exclusively to local residents experiencing financial hardship. For CCMS scholarship purposes, local residents are defined as families whose children attend a school within the Lake County or Chaffee County School Districts, including students who are homeschooled within Lake or Chaffee County.
Family volunteer hours
Families receiving scholarships are required to complete 100% of the required family volunteer hours, in accordance with CCMS policy.
Scholarship award levels
Scholarship awards may cover a portion or up to 100% of program registration fees, depending on financial need and available funding. Scholarships are not guaranteed and may vary by program and season.
Resident and non-resident rates
CCMS offers separate resident and non-resident program rates.
Resident rates: Available to families whose children attend schools within the Lake County or Chaffee County school districts, including eligible homeschooled students residing in either county.
Non-resident rates: Apply to families whose children do not meet the resident eligibility criteria.
Scholarship assistance is intended to help families access our programs regardless of their ability to pay. Please contact us with questions about eligibility or the application process.
